Have you tried contacting Nutro and telling them this story and asking for some help. Sometimes these companies are so helpful and willing to do what they can. My goodness, they give away free samples to get new customers so why not help a old customer rather than let them suffer from not having the food they need? Wish I could help but this has not been a good year for me.

I did, I emailed them, their reply was that they are sending her a coupon for a free 5lb bag & a coupon booklet. Which is the same thing that new customers get.
Maybe I'll try a phone call see if that helps.
