Is he out of his cage or is he in a glass cage?
From what I was told & read they should be in a screen type cage.

Rex has a rather strange set up......I'll see if I can get some better pics of his house. The bottom is a 50 or 60 gallon aquariam, then there is a "box" on top. It is the same size as the aquariam. The top and 3 sides are plexi glass, and the front is metal cage...I don't really know how to explain it He is the most time consuming pet I have ever owned....BUT WORTH EVERY MINUTE!!!!!
