My parents only let Niño on the furniture in my room, but he has my bed and a chair in there.

Yes the dogs are and the cats are too. Sometimes it is challenging to find a place for me to sit down!

Always. No dog I've ever owned has been restricted to the floor.

for crayola, forbidden by authority - service dog rule.

but I rare let him come up on if the floor is really cold at other's houses... as long as it's not screwing up his trainings. shh shh

    Oh why not?
    Who can resist this face?!

Mini has actually been recently banned from sitting at the table during dinner, she was always so good and would just watch, NEVER touching anything, recently my brother Adam got up from the table to answer the phone and she ate his whole taco Mini now remains on the floor during dinner time!!

Is that Micky? cute I know some people do not mind having their dogs asking for food when they are having dinner and that is fine - I have done that in the past with my previous dogs. But with Snowy, I teach her not to beg for food when we are having dinner and so far she has been really good

Baby has her own couch. its a love seat, heres a pic of her and I relaxin on her couch.

Tikeya isnt allowed on the furniture because she is quite the hairy one.. she has several dog beds on the floor to choose from..
Oscar is a shih tzu (non shedding) he doesnt come ont he couch often, just because he doesnt want to.. he rather sleep in his cubby bed .

Yep. Grant doesn't get in our bed, but Sadie and Maggie do. Grant sleeps on the couch at night. He likes to sleep on the twin bed in the computer room if I am in here. Sadie and Maggie sleep wherever and get on any bed/couch they want to. Grant used to not be allowed on the couch, but that only lasted about a week.

The dog has his own chair that he knows is the one he has to use when people are over. When there are no guests, it is a free-for-all except for the beds. He has to wait to be invited up there. If you take too long getting ready for bed, he'll follow you around griping. He waits for me to warm it up, and then tunnels under the covers.

Some furniture...some not. My bed, the couch in the TV room and one arm chair. that's it. They know they cannot go on any furniture in the living room, my dads bed or other chairs. I don't remember training them not to go up on these things..they just never did. Which is good..cause dog + expensive leather couch = no no. (and no, I didn't buy it. It's not even mine)
