Thanks everyone. What I am most shocked at is it only took me a week and a half to find this job. In the 3 years I was in Michigan, there were no jobs (well at least not ones that I'd be a permanent fixture in). Coming here made me realize that Michigan isn't the place to be if you're looking for work.

I would love nothing more than to celebrate with something stronger. But I've been sober now for 12 years now, and that's not something I'm willing to compromise, no matter how bad things get. My HP sees to that!!

Great news about the new job. Is it full time, Mom-Fri type of position? Maybe this is a sign of good things in your future.

    CONGRATS!!!!

I know just how you feel. Rob was looking for a job for 2 years, with NO luck in Ottawa. SO he looked into the Toronto Area & landed one right away.. ok it was a umm bad job.. but he found a GREAT job only a couple weeks later! It took my 1 day to get a job here. I dropped of my resume & was told on the spot I'll get a call on friday & I did. it was a poopy place, but I got the other job I handed my resume at (they said they'll call me in a couple weeks & they did), I now work in a Kennel & LOVE it. Pays low, but love the work.

Oh & working with planes/parts is a great place to work. You'll meet somany cool people I've learned that those guys r extra friendly & will talk until the cows come home. Robs building a plane
