Thread: I'm still worried about my Puddy

Actually, it's going pretty well. Puddy had a restful night; I'm the one who couldn't sleep. Not sure what was wrong but I'm certainly dragging my behind this morning. She's due for her SQ fluids this morning, so we'll see how she reacts. She's usually a pretty good girl, though.

Beautiful autumn day here and I intend to get out and enjoy it!

    Blessings,
    Mary

I hope you and Puddy are doing better. Did she get her fluids?

We had a beautiful autumn day here too!

I hope you are both feeling better!

Thanks so much kittycats_delight for the beautiful siggy and avatar of my kids!

Yep, she got her fluids and she was as good as gold. So I figured while she was there and still, I may as well give her the antibiotic and that's when she put up a fuss. That hind leg came up and tried to kick the syringe out of my hand. But I'm on to her tricks and I knew she was going to do that. And she always lets out what I call her karate yell before she strikes. Either that or she wiggles that tail of hers, like a rattlesnake right before it strikes. Funny! Anyhow, it was all successful and she did well yesterday and all during the night.

The day was so warm, nearly 70 degrees here in OH and most of the leaves are still on the trees, which is virtually unheard of for this time of year. So we went riding and to a winery, had a pizza and a glass of wine outdoors; very relaxing and just what I needed. I was so exhausted, after riding and the wind in my face that I was in bed shortly after 8:00; thought I'd watch TV in bed. Not. My intentions were good but I was down for the count. Puddy didn't want to sleep w/me, she wanted to go downstairs w/the other furkids and I prob. should have let her. But I wanted to be there in case something should change. And Coco Puff plays rough w/her and she isn't all that strong yet. Maybe tonight I'll let her.

    Blessings,
    Mary

I'm glad puddy is better. Thanks for your thoughts on Ben. It is very warm here in Memphis also - lots of very colorful trees. Take Care

ISn't it amazing that one minute they are soo good, the next minute, they are NOT going to let you do WHAT!!!! My Boo was the same way. I always figured if I could hydrate her, I can hydrate ANY cat!!! Glad to hear that Puddy seems to be bouncing back!! Be sure to take care of yourself!! Sandra
