Yorkster, Silver Prince is going to be a LARGE cat. When I weighed him the other day he was 2 lbs, and about 14 oz. Now he is 3lbs and 4 oz. Also, because he is sleeping next to the keyboard this morning, I took the time to measure his length. Appx. 19" from nose to tail-end. Some 2 month old kitty! It looks like the growth expectation will be the same as what you predicted. -2 lbs per monthThis morning he is watching me type on the keyboard, and he just now laid his head on the same board.
When I said 'this morning", I meant early, 3 AM, thanks to Tiger. She has learned to rattle the coathangers in the closet to wake me up.Also, she will walk over me when she thinks it is time for me to get up. The other morning she was "twanging" the bed springs to get me up. ( Fortunately, I do go to bed early.) Smart kitty! And now she is too is getting large - approaching 9 lbs. in weight! She is only 10 months old.
