Used computers are very cheap now, if you don't need all the fancy new stuff I'd suggest that you get two used pcs then you would have a spare for moments like this. I couldn't imagine life without a computer that's why I have a house full of them.

Well, I want a new computer anyway, this one is so old that there's still Win98 running!

I had planned to buy a new computer anyway, but now the monitor seems to die, too. The picture is kind of "jumping" back and forth, it's pretty annoying. And it's getting worse with every passing day.
