I believe that there are red borders out there that are pure, I would suggest going to the AKC's website and checking out the standards if it's important to you. Let us know what you find out if you look it up. Good luck. Also, I wouldn't worry about it unless you're planning on showing her, I personally prefer the mutts to the full breeds being that they are so much healthier.
