Did You Get A Flu Shot This Year?

Really? Hm. I didn't think they'd want you shooting live strains of flu into your body when someone else is inhabiting it. My OB hasn't said a word about it and since I don't have that much longer to go, I'm not worried about it... not that I am any other time. Like I said - voluntary needles and me do not mix.

It isn't a live virus, it's a killed virus to spark the immune system into action.

I have only had them twice, I think, and it was probably 20 years ago when I did because it was offered free by the company I was working for. Helen and I had the flu at the same time about 8 years ago, but that's the only time I can remember really being sick in the last 20+ years.

If your Dr. hasn't mentioned it, don't worry about it. I wasn't nearly as far along as you are when I got my shot last October.
