We did, but they told me the vet had to look at it.

Well I suggest you call another vet, because they should AT LEAST be able to give you a ballpark figure of how much it will cost!

I would say not less than $100. And even that is really low...if I had to guesstimate, about $300-$500. Just make sure you several opinions from different vets. And different options. Good luck!
