Dear Rio,

I'm still wiping away my tears knowing you came from such an abusive and terrifying place that the humane shelter had no hope you would ever adapt to living with humans.

Dear Person who Reo adopted:

You will be in my heart and prayers as long as I live. Being a cat person who loves dogs, horses, birds -- all fauna and flora -- you have won a major place in my heart.

Rio, you deserve to be Cat of the Day; Congratulations! You are the cat of a lifetime for your human -- very big deal!!! Your human is a new convert to the universal league of cat people. With your purr~mission, we have adopted you -- our virtual pussycat -- because of how special you are; we've fallen in love with you. Our darlings Sasha, Tiggy, Princess, Paddy-Paws and Bobby the Dog were rescued pets. They gave us, without a doubt, more than we ever gave them. May their spirits watch over you, precious Rio.

Live long, live happy, loved, cherished, & adored darling Reo. We're sure even though you are the newest furkid in the family, you have won over all hearts (pet and people) and that you truly are the Regal Feline, ruler of the Palace.

We are ready for a kitten or cat to adopt us. Our beloved Sasha and her co-pets [now all at RB] namely the pussycats Tiggy[BCU], Princess and Paddy-Paws and Bobby the Dog are still conferencing on this. They know the rule: send us a kitten or cat who is a "rescue pet".

Dear Reo! I have tears in my eyes after reading your Mom's beautiful, heartfelt tribute to her best boy!!! There isn't a doubt in my mind that you and she were destined to be as one, that a higher power interceeded and guided her to your side that fateful, "final" day! You knew the moment you laid eyes on her that she was the one, didn't you Reo? And to think that this is just the beginning of a lifetime of unconditional love and friendship! You know Reo, we humans have a silly saying...."A lid for every pot!" For sure your Mom found her perfect fit in you! Congratulations to you and your wonderful Mom, precious Reo! Enjoy your much deserved, EXTRA special Sunday Cat of the Day honors with your family, sweetheart! May you all know many, many more happy, love filled years together!

Any day that was to be the last day but becomes the first day is a great day. Two such cats live here.

What we also have in common is that we went through the first part of our lives believing that we were dog people, and not cat... still, I envy you to have found out so early in life. I did not learn I was a cat person until a week before my 41st birthday, when a little fellow came walking out of the woods to my back porch and begun my education process.

What a beautiful, beautiful cat, of such character and dignity. You can see it in his face and attitude. I am so glad he was saved to live a beautiful life, and I love that he chose his own name.

Oh Reo! Your story warmed my heart. Cats (and all animals) know when to adopt their purrents. God gave us SUCH a gift with our pets/furrkids. Those who are not animal lovers do not understand what they are missing by not having the love of one of God's precious creatures.

Reo, you and your purrent were destined to be together. I am so happy you were rescued and now live in a furrever home!
