Not to be rude, but why is it so shiny? It's "shiny" in places that have no colour, either. :/

I don't have any tattoos and I have no desire to get any. I don't see the point in getting something randomly put on me that has no meaning; ie, a star (no offense to anyone that does). If I'm going to put something permenantly on my body, it will be something with great meaning to me. And in that case, I'll put it on a necklace or ring and wear it forever. Because those can come off without trouble.

I have a butterfly on the lower left side of my back/waist. Its a blue morpho butterfly and I adore it. I had it done about 5 years ago.

I want another one, probably a cat, but I wouldn't have it where anyone could see it, unless I wanted them to. People do judge you with tattoos, I wouldn't want someone to judge me before they got to know me.

    Cute tats, everyone!

Not yet but I know what design I want. I just have to figure out where to place it.

I want Kai and Kaedyn's paw prints tattooed onto me (same idea as Kay's). I want a paw print for every dog I get in my life time (possibly with their names inside). I originally wanted it going up the inside of my arms but it depends on if I can get my business successfully running first. I want to make sure I'm my own boss before I tattoo anything on me.

All your tattoos are great! I don't have one but have always wanted one and just lately I have been thinking 'why not'.

I agree 100%. Thats why I am not crazy about my tattoos. I just got them because I wanted to be the first to get them in my class and to be "cool".

Now if anyone asks my opinion, I say WAIT!

From the picture it looks like it had just been done, I have to put on a jelly solution on my tattoo to keep it from drying out etc. The places that are colorless look like its that way for a reason.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't "new" tattoos cause the skin to be red and very irritated?

Yes but eventually, the redness goes away. It's still necessary to keep the tattoo moisterized until it has healed.

I don't think it looks like a permanent tattoo.
