    Auggie

    Dear Auggie & Your Purrson,

Day by day...that's how you must strive to live your lives. Take it from me --the quick-to-awfulize-but-learning-not-to cat lady and my husband: We eventually learned we had not one, but two FIV-positive sister cats: We lost them 10 weeks apart in their 13th year. But how we took joy in those girls: Every morning we let them out of their "overnight room" and they bounded out was like Christmas! Before Rosie and Wudgie, we had my first true soul cat, O'Malley: He was found to be FeLV positive a year after we adopted him and our older, current cat sickened and died of the disease. But O'Malley lived FIVE MORE YEARS! Ask the Lord to impart His strength so you can take joy in every day you have together; I'll ask Him to allow you to share your lives as long as possible! My brother advised after we lost Wudgie to tell stories about her at the drop of a hat, adding, "We never lose anyone or anything as long as we celebrate the found part." Amen! Besides we'll all see our furrkins again one day! DO read Cynthia Rylant's Cat Heaven and Dog Heaven poems; the books are a joy!

Augie, you are rather dashing!!! Please let your parent know that our Riley, at 5 months, was diagnosised with the same condition. He has NEVER been on medication, and as of his last cardiac ultrasound(10/ 5/05), he is stable!! RIley is now FIVE years old and runs , jumps, and does everythig a cat should do!! We will keep you in our prayers that the outcome for you will be just as good!!! You are so special to your parent, that is why she is NOT allergic to you!!! MANY years of good health, love, and kisses in your forever home. HAPPY COTD!!! And Riley says MEOW!! to you!!!

    Auggie!

What a gift you are to your meowmie! That long lovely snout and lovely large ears - and the long long toes that hang on your lanky paws!

I just read up on your illness - and while it is a real challenge, I know you Siamese types can hang on out of sheer determination and have a great time doing it!

I wonder if your doctor thinks aerobic oxygen drops would help keep the oxygen up in your system. That stuff has worked wonders for many dear pets for a variety of conditions!

Prayers are yours, dear au GUST the FIRST and only! Your every day is rich with love, for you and your purrson.

    hugs and blessings to you.

Dear, sweet Auggie. You are a beautiful kitty with your light coloring and long, lanky body. You know cats have nine lives so we expect you to be around for many more years! I think it was not coincidence that you came into your mom's life just when she needed a special friend. Prayers and healing vibes from me (Karly) and my feline crew to you, Auggie.
