I think you should let her stay in your room. If you are worried about leaving them alone together, put one in a crate or playpen while you're gone.

i have to take some, she is a blue merle rough collie and she doesnt have much fur she has a thing called hot spots where she has to wear a cone some times. but her name is Sophie, i think i will let her in my room she only stays there in during the night while kirby will be in there all the time.

your collie sounds beautiful!! i am sure (he/she?) will get along with kirby just fine, when they get used to each other. a bit of a size difference, huh? lol
