Dear Chiodo. What a beautiful, most touching tribute your guardian has written. The love she/he expresses for you and your predecessor Misha, speaks to the true meaning of animal love and devotion. Misha was DOTD before I joined Pet Talk in 2000 and it was an honor to meet her today, as well. What a beautiful girl she was and my heart goes out to your family on her passing Your family as well deserves to be honored for doing so much to help ensure the health and well being of all of those homeless creatures on the reservation with their most generous gift of food...and caring.

You certainly had some might impressive paw prints to fill. but your humans seem to have a knack for welcoming into their hearts and home, the truly special ones and you are doing one fine job, perpetuating Misha's legacy of love And yes, the gratitude and devotion shown us humans by you resuce kids is truly priceless

Congratulations to you and your family on your well earned Dog of the Day honors, beautiful Chiodo! And I have a feeling that Misha is feeling great pride this day, looking down lovingly from the Rainbow Bridge, whispering into your ear, "Well done, Chiodo."
