I'm so glad you are considering another dog. You mentioned a Boston Terrier. That happens to be my mother's favorite breed, and she has one right now that she got as a puppy in December, Mr. Darcy. Boston's are compact, high energy dogs. Just be ready to play a lot if you decide to go that route.

I'm with Basim (KayAnn) and some of the others, rescuing a dog is always the best thing! I didn't rescue either of my Golden Retrievers, but I will the next time. There are many purebred rescues available as well, so get those fingers typing, and search the internet for rescue organizations in your area.
