I haven't joined you guys on Thursdays in a long time. I think I'm ready today!!!

Two weeks ago, I drug my poor husband to my 25th high school reunion. Class of 1980!!! I went to a small, private school and we only had 52 in our whole graduating class. I thought this reunion would be well attended, but it wasn't. We've had one every 5 years since we graduated and I haven't missed a single one. I always enjoy catching up with my old friends, although I don't keep in touch with them in between very much. My mom keeps me up to date on them since so many still live in my hometown.

Poor Scott indulged me.....he didn't know a soul!

Richard, I don't like coconut, but if you make me a Mai Tai, without it, I'd love it!!!

Can't imagine why When I started playing air guitar and doing my best Derrick and the Dominos moves the dogs decided it wasn't all that wet and rainy outside after all Coffee's on folks and the Canadian bacon is starting to crisp up. Scrambled or poached? HI LOGAN!! Long time no see

I think I need a very large Baileys with my coffee after that mental image! Breakfast smells fantastic too thanks!

Logan, my mum does that too, keeps me up to date with news she hears about people from my school. Only she always seems to update me on people that I never knew in the first place!

    Logan, are you my twin?!!?

Two weeks ago I had my 25th class reunion - class of 1980. I went to a public school, but it was a small rural community so we had about 120 in my graduating class - about 30 showed up at the reunion. Terry escorted me, even though he knew no one. We have our reunions every 5 years and I've only missed one because the organizer's computer crashed so they lost everyone's address and I never got an invite so I didn't even know it was going on until it was over with. I don't like coconut but would love a Mai Tai without it. I have an adorable elderly long haired kitty. No dogs now, but we had a few while I was growing up....anything else we have in common?

    'Morning everyone!

Bright sunny day here in Chi-town, and the Sox won - controversial or not - so Chi-town is feeling pretty good today. And......it's Yom Kippur so the boss is in temple all day!

Tray, thanks for asking. I generally feel ok. Sometimes I'm kind of tired, and somtimes my neck is just.....achy?...but generally I feel ok. Last night I was beat because I had to get up at 5:00 am to get Terry to the airport....

Anyway, I've blabbed enough. I've got the coffee going, so all we need is Slick so we can add some Baileys to it, and I made some sticky buns too. Haven't made them in a long time so I hope they turned out ok......

Good morning all! Any coffee? Okay, I am wearing bell bottoms today! Of course my kids has got me into wearing them again. Does that count?

Hope all are feeling well and having a grand time this morning! My house has now got sheetrock in it, and vents for the cooling and heating! I am getting more excited all them time now! Soon, very soon! (I hope)

Good morning all you young whippersnappers!!!

I graduated in 1969 so I'm older than dirt and twice as dusty!!!

Never graced the high school with my presence again after I escaped either.

My cat gang would love some iced CNT today. I want a big greasy hamburger and onion rings, please?

Yes, Mario, I'll share the onion rings but remember, girls may not want to kiss you with monkey onion breath!

Whew, Moff! Thanks! I was beginning to feel like the only oldster here as I, too, graduated in '69 Our motto was: Lovers of sex, drinkers of wine, we were the class of '69 I've NEVER gone to any of my reunions, although I do keep in contact with a few who are still alive. Anyone else remember Spanada? We actually drank that stuff and lived to talk about it!

    Nope, don't remember Spanada.

I did get a kick out of skateboards, however. Our generation invented them. We took roller skates and took them apart and screwed the wheels to boards. What fun!!!
My brother would ride his down the halls of the school.
I wipped out going down a hugh hill in our park. Bout ended up in the lake with the ducks. Boy were they surprised! Hee Hee!

I don't know what Spanada is, but one of the door prizes they had for us was a bottle of Boones Farm wine! I didn't think they made that anymore!!

Mario, come here sweety. I had a grilled mozzarella and pesto sandwich for lunch. Yummy, but heavy on the garlic, so we can hang together and gross each other out with our smelly breath. Oh, oh....everybody's waving their hands in front of their noses, we might want to go over to our own little corner before they might call the haz-mat guys on us.

You guuu-uuu---uuys! Terry graduated in 1965 making you all a bunch of youngsters, so stop making me feel like I'm living with a guy who is older than dirt!

Two cute jokes I got to liven things up around here.

Two brooms were hanging in the closet and after a while they got to know
each other so well, they decided to get married.

One broom was, of course, the bride broom, the other the groom broom.

The bride broom looked very beautiful in her white dress. The groom broom
was handsome and suave in his tuxedo. The wedding was lovely.

After the wedding, at the wedding dinner, the bride-broom leaned over
and said to the groom-broom, "I think I am going to have a little whisk
    broom!!!"

"IMPOSSIBLE !!" said the groom broom.

    Are you ready for this?

    "WE HAVEN'T EVEN SWEPT TOGETHER!"

Sounds to me like she's been "sweeping" around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    And number 2:
An Arkansas mountain woman went to the doctor and was told to go home and come back in a couple of days with a specimen.

When she got home, she asked her husband. "What is a specimen?"

He replied, "Danged if I know. Go next door and ask Edith. She's a nurse."

The woman went next door and came back in about twenty minutes with her clothes all torn and with multiple bruises on her face and body.

"What in the tarnation happened?" asked her husband.

"Danged if I know." she replies. "I asked Edith what a specimen was, and she told me to go pee in a bottle. I told her to go fart in a jug and then all hell broke loose."

You've all heard the one about the blonde whose Doctor tells her "Congratulations, Ma'am, you're Pregnant!" The Blonde turns to the doc and asks, Oh my Gosh, is it mine?
