Julie, (((hugs))) what a wonderful tribute to darling Kissy. You gave Kissy somethings that he would not have had if you had not come into his life. You provided Kissy with food, shelter, love and compassion.

I'm so sorry it was time for Kissy. He was loved in the past two years with you, and I know he was happy there with you. You did what you could for him, and now he's at rest.

I fear the day I have to say goodbye to Pjevs in the yard. He's an old boy too.

This is so true, and this is how he knew he was loved and the last two years definitely made up for all he had endured before.

I'm so sorry, Julie. Even though it is so hard for us, Kissy is at peace now and your family - furred and non-furred - now have a kitty angel watching over them and keeping them safe.

Kissy,was at the Pet Angel Army Breakfast this Morning,for New Arrivals. And he is going,to have a meal,in his honor at a smorgsbord,in Gotenborg Sweden,where the Angels are staying this week.
He loves you,and Thanks You for the two years of Love.
And he will have such wonderous stories,to tell you when he sees you again One Fine Day.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Today has been so hard - I keep going outside to check Kissy's food and water, and looking for him every time I enter or leave the house - only to remember that he is no longer here.

I know he is in a much better place, and I am trying to take comfort from the fact that he is no longer suffering.

Thank you all for helping me to remember darling Kissy, and not letting his passing go unnoticed.

I am still feeling so raw, and on the verge of tears all the time. I wish it would stop hurting, but I know it will take time.

Yes, it will take some time but you'll feel better soon. You'll be comforted by the fact that you did your best for Kissy. It was the last kind thing you could do for her. She knew you loved her. And she loves you. Take heart.
