Spaying any pet is when they take the female reproductive organs out in a surgery...... neutering is for male pets... I just learned through this post that rabbits are high risk for dying during a spaying surgery![]()
My vet said that she has only lost 2 rabbits in the past 2-3 years, so things are improving greatly since people are being more educated about rabbits etc.
It was just unlucky that Ebony didn't survive the anistectic. My vet also said that she does advise spaying and always would for the health and well being of our female buns.
Today Bunny honked at me, which is basically an aggressive thing. Maybe she needs some time on her own?
