They finally came home around midnight, and it took me about twenty minutes to catch him. LOL
I am glad I didn't just chuck him outside which was my first impulse, because he is an indoor only kitty, and I would feel so guilty if he ran off.

Whew! Boy is he lucky you were there and were able to trap him! I sure hope this makes him think twice before trying to escape again....but unfortunately curious kitties rarely seem to learn the first time.![]()

Glad you were there for him. Just don't know what would have happened to him if you had not been there for him. Glad the owners finally showed up for him, hopefully they will be more careful next time.
