Another thing to keep in mind is that if you participate, you must send cards to everyone on the list, not just those you pick and choose. Everyone sends to everyone, it's the only fair way to do it.

Also, when considering postage, some particpants are from out of the country - Europe, Canada, Australia, etc. - so postage will be more to them than to the US participants. 50 x .37 = $18.50, then you have to add a bit for the out of country people, and you're looking at possibly around $25.00 in postage - on top of the cost of cards for 50 people, etc....

It can get a bit expensive, but it is so worth it go get a ton of cards from all over the world.

    I'm in again!

Just a heads up to people who haven't participated: In the past, I've ended up spending about $75+ if you include postage, cards, envelopes, stickers, pictures, etc.

The first year I participated the bottom line was just over $150. That's why I've opted out of this since then and will not be participating this year.

BUT, you don't have to do all that. You can even go to Wal Mart and get the photo cards. I think they are quite reasonable. Please don't back out just for that. We would love to get anything from you.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I'm interested but I don't know how many people will be involved or how much do you think postage would be? It's 38 cents in the US correct?? For 50 cards that's 20 bucks. I know doesn't seem like a lot but on a tight budget..

I'll consider, though! I would LOVE to receive some, that's for sure, but well.. I'll see.

I know that I've regretted not participating, and, I won't miss out on it again. I'm probably going to have to set aside $5 or $10 a week, starting now. Hopefully, my budget won't be so small here in the next month, though, and it won't be so tight for me. But, either way, I wanna do it this year! I'm already thinking of ways to make this as creative, but, as inexpensive as possible!

Hi! Welcome to Pet Talk! Usually for things like this (card swaps, gift swaps, etc.) only people who have been members for awhile can participate. We do this through regular mail therefore our addresses are given out. I mean no offense to you, I'm sure you're a fine person, but I (and I'm sure others too) don't want my address going to just any stranger on the internet.
Let us all get to know you and next year you will be more than welcome to participate.
