Poor little Katie! My heart is breaking for both of you. I hope that she will come out of it soon! It is so hard to see our babies when they are sick.
My Tabby had a mini-stroke a few years ago, when she was 15. I could just tell that something was wrong with her when we woke up in the morning. She just layed on the bed and wouldn't move. I rushed her to the vet, and he noticed that she was lethargic, but by the time we left, she was walking, slowly.
I stayed home with her that day, and after a few more days, she was more like herself.... and now she is fine!
I hope that this gives you some hope! I am sending lots of hope, prayers and well wishes that she continues to get better soon!
Keeping Katie in my prayers. It is good to know that she has had improvement.

Yes Craftlady, someone is there during the night to keep an eye on the more sickly ones. That's why years ago I had picked this vet hospital.Originally Posted by Craftlady
Donnaj, that is encouraging, thank you for sharing that.
Thank you Gary for sending your Cat Angels to help Katie through this.
Thank you again everyone as it is very comforting to me, knowing that you all understand what I am going through and really care and I don't have to second guess my decision to wait longer to see if she will come through this. I won't even mention what some of my friends have said, it's not worth it and I'm sure you can guess.
Come on my sweet Katie, you have to pull through this. You still have more years to go on being my velcro girl.

It would be so much easier if you could explain to her what's going on. My cat wouldn't eat at all when he had to stay at the vet's, I had to feed him every day myself. Plenty of positive thoughts going your way and hope that Katie is home soon.
Lorraine, I'm so sorry to hear that poor Katie did have a mini stroke.Lots and lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent her way. Please take care. ((((HUGS))))
I know your heart must be breaking, seeing Katie like this and hoping with all your might that she will improve. We all know what it's like, watching a beloved pet during an illness and praying that she will recover and come home.
It's hard to imagine friends who wouldn't support you 100% when you're hurting like this, so remember all of us here at PT who are praying earnestly for Katie and you.
We care and we are with you all the way.
