Oh Lorraine, I'm so sorry.
However, I'm encouraged that there is a little bit of improvement, and hope and pray that she will improve everyday until the vet gets back.
I know she is in the best place possible for them to keep an eye on her, but I just think she would be so much more comfortable and peaceful at home, which could only encourage any healing. Since this does seem to be an immediate life threatening thing, is there any chance you can bring her home for the next couple of days? I know I would be a basket case if she were home, but I'd also be a basket case with her at the vet's..... However, I know you and your vet will do whatever is best for little Katie girl.
The other good news is that she's hungry and actually lets them know that. That is always an ecouraging sign.
