Just bumping this up to the top. No one has a couch in desperate need of a 40mph couch potato?

I see rescued Greyhounds all over my little town in South Hero Vermont.
I have always considered a Greyhound since they are deemed to be such good potatoes.
I hope folks chime in here to help out.
I suppose if more information is supplied, you might get a better response.
Come back again, when you get closer to more detailed needs.
Thanks,
Sallyanne Smith
I know of one friend who might take a couch potato, but she's in a state that does have greyhound racetracks. Does this make her not eligible? Plus, she's just one person, and could take more than one, would they even bother, when they have so many to place?
Even one dog that finds a new home is a step in the right direction. Even if you live in states far away, contact your local group to adopt. One dog adopted out means room for one more dog that that adoption group can take in. Adoptions are moving along at a steady pace right now here. We have been getting a lot of press in our state newspaper and on the local news. As the closing day draws near, it will be a mad dash to move these dogs.
