Favorite rabbit breeds + Tans and Britannia Petites

EDIT: My mom apparantly wasn'y listening and just said, "Maybe, I don't know right now" like she always does when I talk animals. She said, "I don't aspire to be a fur farmer!" and I said, "First of all, YOU aren'nt going to do anything and second of all, none of them will ever be used for fur!"

I don't think my parents will let me have any more inside rabbits but I am talking to them about building an insulated shed in my yard this spring to maybe house more rabbits and finally get a "rabbitry" started. I have discovered some new breeds that I love, American Tans and Britannia Petites! Tans come in Black, Chocolate, (my favorite) blue, and lilac. I ideally would love to focus on the 4-6 lb tans as a rabbitry because of the challenge and maybe have a britannia petite as a pet and show bunny but that would be a stretch. I don't know if they will say yes to the shed yet, they are still desiding. I wanted to branch out from dwarfs at least untill highschool is done because I don't want to deal with the dwarfing factor creating peanuts. I love them as a breed, though.
    Here are some Tans:

    and some Britannia Petites:

Tans are my absolute favorite when it comes to rabbits, I think they are unsurpassed in beauty. I also adore the giant breeds, in particular French Lops.

My own little brown bunny, of course!

She's probably a Rex/Netherland Dwarf mix or something like that.

Besides my perfect girl, I really do love all bunnies pretty much equally!

Tans are lovely (I like the black). Silver Martens are also gorgeous. (they have a silvery grey color in the areas that the Tans have tan). I also love those rabbits with specialty fur......Rex and Satins. I used to have a few Copper (colored) Satins......BEAUTIFUL!!

MY mom and I had a rabbitry.....we bred mostly Dutch, specializing in Steel (colored) Dutch, a very hard color to breed genetically. It taught me a lot about genetics at a young age.

I also loved Checkered Giants. We had 1 pair of these beauties. I would actually LOVE to find a Checkered Giant in need of a home right now.

i just got a rabbit. its a coincidence because it is a mix of those two breeds! (i know mixes are bad, but it needed a home) it had the same tan color, but the body shape of the was from the Britannia Petite. it died 12 hours after we brought it home because it was neglected with the previous owner

    RIP little bunny.

p.s. i think those are great breeds. i like himaylayn colored netherland dwarfs, holland lops, and harlequins

I love french lops, hopefully someday I will have one. Any color is ok with me.

I was at the petstore last week they had bunnies for sale, 2 of which I have never seen before, they had longer tails, a deep redish color, sleek & slim in shape. I can't for the life of me remember the breed name. If I remember correctly they come from Africa. I guess they have laid back personalities and are quite smart. I'd love to have one of those someday too.
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.

Really? In Netherland Dwarfs that color is not accepted and I think you can get it usually by breeding an otter to a shaded or himi.

HOW could I forget about DUTCH!? I love them so much too, the blond (?) and the black, and that blue is gorgeous! Is that color exepted? At the county fair open show this summer there was only one dutch! There were about 40 mini lops and 40 NDs!
