he didn't stay clear all the time, but, i would just lift the paddles up...on the way out there, he was all over the place, and, kept swimming in front of the kayak, and, would make the kayak turn as he would turn around, it was funny. on the way back, though, he got the hang of it, and mostly stayed just far enough away.

He swam all the way. We just go down to the ramp and get in. He follows! And, when we're coming back, Brian paddles in front to make sure there are no dogs on the drive leading to the ramp. Just in case. If there are, we just chill in the water and wait.

That looks like so much fun! I want to go kayaking sometime, but since I live in the middle of a desert I don't think that will happen anytime soon!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

Well, anyone who needs a dose of water, just let me know. We've got room here for parched visitors. Glad y'all like the photos, it is really nice living on the lake like my parents do. It's certainly spoiled me. I'm hoping to move by the start of the new year, but, now I really want to stay on the lake!

Wow that looks like so much fun.
I've always wanted to start canoeing, but I haven't had the time, money &/or strength to start, something always backfires everytime I try to start.
