Mantids and millipedes were banned for sale in the US earlier this year.

Really? I remember PetCo had them near where I lived, can't remember if it was earlier this year or later last year though.

They were banned in March of this year. I remember because the store I used to work in gave away all theirs so that Fish and Game wouldn't take them and euthanise them.
