Anyone familiar with the San Francisco area?

... the ones I've found only take small dogs.
Somehow I don't think 70 lbs qualifies ...

Don't let the "Small or 30-40# limits" scare you away!

CALL the hotel/motel directly (NOT the central reservation number)
and just ask if they'll allow a "WELL BEHAVED 'larger' dog" ...

I've even managed to get THREE Dawgs into a "NO pets" motel
with a friendly phone call in advance!

Often helps to say you'll accept a "smoking room"
on the ground floor.
Unless they are booked up; most places will bend their
published 'rules' to sell the room.

Thanks everyone! Dogfriendly.com that wolflady suggested helped me at least find hotels that accepted pets, but most had restrictions or fees listed on their sites. Phred I took your advice and contacted a hotel directly, and it turns out they don't have a problem if you can crate them and thanks to a mixup in the reservations I can actually afford the room! Thanks again!
