Being outside dogs, they naturaly stay short.
When I had Lady, she was inside all the time, I had to trim them and did it myself. Shes been gone 14 years.

Not usually, however I did clip Sadie and Maggie's yesterday. Took some time, but it got done. I had them in a big 35 gallon tote because they were in there to get a bath. They put their paws on the edge to try and get out and I clip them while they are standing there. Maggie bit me a couple of times and screamed like a human kid but it got done. Sadie kept pulling her back paws away and I had to be patient. Usually, I let the vet do it but I was feeling brave yesterday so I did it myself. Haven't tried clipping Grant's yet myself, my clippers are pretty small for Sadie and Maggie so I don't think they would work on his nails.

Yeah I Give My Dogs A Bath Once A Week Because They Sleep On My Bed And My Bed Is White, So I Read A Grooming Book And They Said To Clip Their Nails After Their Bath So Their Soft And Easier To Cut And Less Likely To Bleed. Then I File Them So Their Not So Sharp And Condition Them So They Don't Crap Since My Dogs Are A Fast Agility Dogs But Both My Dogs Have Black Nails Even My White Dog Does.
Thanks so much Ashley for the siggy!

I try to with a guiatine one but my mom gets mad when I do because she cut the quick once and now she takes him to petsmart to have it done. His are kept pretty short anyway from running on cement.

I clip Jesse's nails, my friends dog's, my aunts, and my cousin's dogs! I check Jes's every week, and clip them when they need to be..

Laura's cut Payson's nails but I'm a little nervous of doing it myself. I'm going to have to get over it though because he needs to have his nails cut pretty often- he's still scared of the outdoors (I'm working with him on it, but the going is slow...) so they don't get worn down at all naturally
