Is your dog clicker trained? If not go to a pet store like petsmart, ask where the clickers are. get one. ( while your there pick up Small treats.) Once you get home, take your treats and your clicker and cilck your clicker and give them a treat Keep doing this intill your dog gets the idea or intill five minutes is up. The next day do the same. If your dogs getting that a ''click'' means a treat start with a walk arond the block and Every time your dog pulls stop and when she comes back to you click and treat and when she's by your side. thanks everyone for the ideas! they are all great, but we decided to get a harness that goes around the chest. she was choking herself so bad that she was damaging her trechea. (sp?) it works reallly well. she doesn't pull to much anymore, and it seems to be more comfortable. thanks everyone!
