Koalas cannot be pets. I watched a show in which a koala was stolen from the zoo once. Aparently it almost died of starvation within a few days. They need on a few species of plants. They can't sleep laying down, thye must be in a tree, and they can't drink from a bowl or cup. This koala that was stolen lost 10% of its body weight each day from stress and lack of food, sleep, and proper temperature. They must sleep about 20 hours a day. They are also very aggressive as adults. I'd suggest you buy a pet that's meant to be a domestic animal, leave wild animals to where they belong and where they can thrive.
