How do you do it? How do you get the time? How do you have the space?
I find it's a matter of routine. I have a system worked out for them and it works as long as I stick to it. The dogs all know the schedule and they don't like it when I deviate from it either.

I feed at about the same time every day. I buy dog food by the tonne twice a year. Not only cheaper, but I never have to run to the store for food. It's always on hand. I hand out medications at the same time. I scoop poop every day. That way it takes 15 minutes instead of all day.

I keep a daytimer and journal just for dog(&cat) stuff. That's where I keep track of who got walked when & where, vet app'ts, any behavior changes, gotcha & birth days, who ran where in the sled team and how they did, ect.

I never planned on 22 dogs, but when I bought my house, I looked for a place with lots of room, no animal control limits and room to expand.
If you are lucky enough to find a way of life you love, you must find the courage to live it.

"Just because they spend more time here than at their own home, just because I am the one that feeds them, just because I amthe one who cleans up after them, does not make them mine. "

Hey, they spend their time wherever I am. They're my girls! I clean up after them here, I clean the front yard there, occasionally the backyard there, and I help feed them. Just ask Jasmine, she helps too!!!!!!
