I couldn't help but shed a few tears while reading your Mommy's beautiful tribute to her beloved Uma, the dog with a heart of gold The loving look on that beautiful face of yours says it all. My Cody was a rescue too, abused mentally and physically by her previous owner, so I understand the special brand of love your gentle soul requires. And you sure did find that extra special forever human to help heal you body and soul, Uma Bless her for giving such a deserving doggie a second chance at happiness. And I have a feeling that those joyful wake up kisses are your special way of saying, "Thank You Mom!" But I'm sure she feels as we all do, that the pleasure, the privilege, the honor of sharing our lives with you pups is all OURS And Uma, you don't need to perform any tricks to prove to the world how smart you are, how well mannered, how special. The unconditional love you give your guardian is the greatest, most precious gift of all. Your Mommy sure does love you Uma and we do too!
