I have always loved the name Samuel. Then again I had a not-so-nice boyfriend by the name of Joseph

"Samuel Alexander" has way too many syllables for it to sound good. It's just not a smooth flowing name like "Joseph Alexander" is

I think Samuel Alexander sounds really good...it has a nice strong flow, and, I think unless you really annunciate every syllable like sam-you-el, it only really has two syllables, no more than Joseph. More like Sam-yule. I think they're both great names, though!

i think samuel is a nice name. Joseph is very popular and where i am from they always use the nickname joey, but i hardly ever hear the name samuel or sammy.
