Donna, Mario IS A REAL MONKEY
You're putting me on, right??? (no offense Mario).

So, lemme get this straight (even before I've had my coffee) Mario ISN'T a figment of all your imaginations, like pink elephants are mine when I've had too many cherry martinis???

I think I'll keep Mario and his existence to myself. If I tell any of my friends, I'll be in a rubber room for sure!!!!!

Oh, and ya better add an extra shot of vodka to that mudslide cuz this is just making me laugh so hard my sides hurt!!!

Nice to to meet ya, Mario

Donna, see Willie's signature? There is Mario.

So we all know Mario is real - but your pink elephants - well, I haven't seen any around here lately!

In real life Mario lives in Tennessee with Willie and Willie's family. Mario is a widower, his wife used to be in the circus but died several years ago He has free rein of the place and would be insulted if he had to live in a cage. Here at Thursdays he still has free rein of the place and can be quite helpful when not being a little imp. Willie had a video of Mario playing with her Grandson a year or so back. It was great.

Gee, I'm sorry I didn't get here earlier to explain about Mario. Yes, Donna, he is real and has become our Thursdays mascot.
( Has any one told Donna about the L&F room and the you know what that Slick and Gini keep in there?)

All I can say about the Lost and Found, is stay clear...especially if you hear strange noises. Hmm, that reminds me, soon we will have to get out the Halloweenie decorations and make sure the Christmas decorations aren't buried in the back.

It's going to be a great day today even though it's raining here. Think I'll have a spanish coffee to start. Oh yes Mario, you can put a cherry on top...but not if you licked it!

    OMD, did someone say firemen!!!!

ewww, spinach coffee? YUCKIE! Donna, by the way... Tennessee Mario has been cloned. I have one of his clones at my house (Slick gave him to me in Seattle) and he has been to Gini's BBQ twice now. He's a very well traveled youngun'. The flight attendents all love him. Travel with Mario and you are certain to get a free beer or two REALLY!! Would I kid you

    Donna.........a true story.

My niece attended the BBQ this year - so she now knows all about Thursdays and what it means - and she knows about Mario.

Her Dad, my brother, was visiting and I mentioned that I was really surprised because it was already Thursday and no one had opened Thursdays - so I had to do it.

My brother looked at me and said "what do you mean, you had to open Thursdays?"

My niece and I sat there howling - how do you ever explain the craziness that goes on here? You don't - you keep it to yourself and just have fun.

Could you bring your pink elephants one of these days? I bet Mario would love a ride on them.

    Hi everyone!

That slushie Richard made me must have been a doozy. It made me late getting back here. But I'm always late, sometimes as much as 24 hours.

Umm, Laurie, I think that was Spanish-not spinach-coffee. I think I'd like a Spanish coffee too. I'll get it, Slick. Mario has the cherries. Sould I ask him for them or would you like to pass on them?

    Done!

Gee, I just spent some time going through Boomer's thread and seeing all the pictures. What an adventure, and he's come out purrrfectly OK.

Laurie, call it what you wish, my dear.

Lunchtime here and I'm being good....eating my healthy salad with chicken and a whole wheat bun, but thanks to visualization, I'm really eating a sloppy cheezeburger with two kinds of cheezes, lettuce, tomato and onion and a mountain of onion rings.

    Thanks for the S-Coffee Mary.

    *rolls in the keg*

Tomorrow is my first rugby game of the season (after my three year hiatus). So I'm bringing in a keg to get into the spirit of the game, and to dull the pain of any injuries I may recieve.
    I've been Defrosted!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!
