We got to the cargo place - I think about 10:50. The guys said 753 was due in at 11:11....but within a few minutes they said he was already down and the cargo man went right out to pick him up instead of waiting to have him brought over. Said he would be back in about 20-25 minutes.
While we were waiting - phone rang and it was for mePhred!
While I was talking to him....here comes Boomer!!!
He had big ole saucer eyes and was looking out at us - dad took his pic...
Signed paperwork and went out to the car. He had peed in there but did not seem like very much and he does not need a bath or anything. I sat in back and let him out, took his collar off - and he then climbed back into the carrier for the ride so I just left my hand at the door and he sniffed it now and then. Oh and I took out all the paper out, and cleaned the carrier out really well while he was on the seat next to me. Not a peep out of him all the way home!!
Brought the carrier in and set it in his new room and opened the door. He came right out - sniffed the litterbox and then under the bed. About 2-3 minutes later he came out to sniff a bit and then hid under the pak -n play. We left a small lamp on and left him alone in there. There is food and water for him. He seems just fine - we will let him hide as he wants. He was in the crate for 32 hours but it is all behind him now!!!
This was the scene right outside his door!
We are headed to bed here - Night everyone! Will update tomroow - but let us sleep inThank you sooooo much to everyone who has shared this big adventure!!
