What does she counter surf on? Already prepared meals, or ingredients, or is it the bread and things like that? I read a book that talked about problems like this...if you try everything and everything fails, maybe you should change your own ways. Dogs are opportunists...maybe keep everything off the counters, and while your preparing a meal you could keep her in her crate (if she has one) or in a bedroom, or another part of the house.

You could also teach her the leave it command. Technically, even if you're gone, she shouldn't touch food even placed on the floor if you told her to leave it. (Technically )

There is this nifty thing that you set up, and it will let you know when your dog goes where it's not supposed to.


And then of course there are scat mats, and the option of electronic collars, depending on how desperate you are and how bad the situation gets.
