Michelle, you did the right thing and you proved your love for Lilith by doing what was best for her. I've been in your situation before and questioning yourself afterwards is a normal response. You'll always miss her but in time it will become easier to talk about her and remember her without crying or tearing up. She had a wonderful life with you and she knew she was loved.
