Beeker is a greyhound? I'm sure glad you posted that, because I would never have guessed - those ears REALLY threw me off! He sure is cute! All your sweeties are cute - nice to se pictures of them.

Not a greyhound an Italian greyhound, so the smaller version of the greyhound. With his ears up like that it can be kind of confusing at times, I like to call him my mini pharoah hound.

Thanks Amy for the great sig!

haha mini pharaoh hound, I like that. at first I thought he was a whippet, then I thought he looked like a pharaoh hound puppy cause of the ears, (I have seen many greyhounds with ears like that though. its adorable ^__^) then I read in your intro thread that he was an IG! lol he looks so huge for an italian though! is he within the standard size? there have been a few dogs at the dog park that looked too big to be IGs, but too small to be whippets, that I never really knew which one they were. maybe they were IGs after all! regardless, he is ADORABLE and looks like he has so much personality!!

I think he's just a little over the limit for height as far as ig's go. When I first got him he was around 14 and 3/4 but now I think he's between 15 and 16 at the withers. In other words he totally doesn't fit the standard for Ig's but that's okay because he has the perfect height and structure for what I want to do with him, the little guy was built for Agility and jumping. As far as his personality he doesn't act like a normal IG, most of the ig's that I've seen are quite skitish and Beaker the majority of time is quite happy go lucky.

Yay it's the goonies!!! You know I LOVE the goonies!! Great pics, this one was really cute (Winter looks SO thrilled too! )

Do you think maybe the pics make Beaker look bigger than he is? When I met Smudge, Winter, and Tama they were all smaller than I thought they would be so that may make Beaker look bigger.

He's two or three inches shorter then Smudge and a few inches taller then Tama, but your right the camera could be making him look bigger. I do know that he's a little tall for his breed though.
