Well, now, that's very interesting. I have heard of using tuna juice on a toothbrush to get the cat used to the brush, but I have never heard of tuna cleaning a cat's teeth. I have also heard of vitamin B toxicity in cats resulting from a diet too heavy in tuna processed for humans, and I have heard that a diet heavy in protein from any source is controversial in humans and animals that already have kidney disease, but I have never heard of tuna being bad for the kidneys. In fact, it is sometimes recommended for cats who are in advanced CRF with no appetite to coax them to eat.Originally posted by SpencerTheLion
I have heard that tuna helps to clean the teeth, but it's not a good idea to feed it daily. Too much tuna is bad for the kidneys.
