    6:00 a.m. update
    Sunday
Eleanor spent the night under my computer desk.
I had to feed her some wet food (chicken/lamb) so that I could give her the antibotic. Hopefully, she ate enough food to not upset her tummy.
Her ears are cool which is a good thing.
I think she went potty last night. Her and Skinny were only ones not on our bed last night.
Process of elimination, no pune intended. LOL

I hope thath Eleanor is already a little better. It's so worrying when they become sick. Best wishes for her on their way.

Good thoughts and prayers coming from Toronto, for Eleanor!
She did have diarrhea sometime early evening. It's pudding variety. I'm thinking it's antibotic but then she just starting eating again late afternoon. Could be combo. I'll watch it tomorrow.
Eleanor is acting more like herself tonight.
It's nice to see her racing to the food dish when I'm dispensing food

    6:00 a.m Monday Update
Her appetite is continues to do well
We are playing let's have mom chase me around the house to take my medicine, gotta love a running work out up/down stairs at 5:40 a.m.

    Update.. 12:20 p.m.
It's easy to tell when Eleanor goes #2 because she doesnt bury. Considering the amount, she should be feeling so much better. LOL No diarreha. The antibotic has adjusted to her system.

    Keep it up Eleanor.

Have you used BeneBac after antibiotics before?
Puts the good bacteria back in their systems after the antibiotic kills everything. Helps with dire-rear.

    Get well soon, baby.

    No I havent.
Guess yogart would do the same thing?
She doesnt have diarreha anymore. It was just a one time deal now she is adjusted to antibotic.

    Friday Update (9/9/05)
Eleanor is off the antibotic. After a full week the symptoms of being on it started to show more in the last 48 hrs. I got some yogart today and gave her some which seemed to help a little bit.
However, since it was the weekend coming up and I'm parinoid trying to avoid another trip to ER place, I called our vet late this afternoon and it was decided to stop the antibotic. She had been on it long enough.

We did some shopping at PetSmart tonight and got some liquid supplement with Cranberry/Papaya. So everyone is getting 1/4 tsp (normal is 4 tsp for each meal) but I dont think they need that much, a day. Cranberry is a good fighter against UTI. If a $6.99 bottle of supplement can keep us out of the ER vet's or our vet's unless it's a normal check up, it's worth it.

Boy oh boy oh boy! You've had your share, eh? I'm glad that Eleanor is doing better, though. Maybe you both need some rest? Good thoughts and prayers going out......

    Blessings,

The BeneBac is available at Petsmart.

It has targeted bacteria in specific proportions, I think it's better than giving them yougurt. Which has a lot of sugar, but if yougurt it is, then it should be plain unflavored (not even vanilla)
