I agree with bckrazy that a Corgi would not be the best choice if you've got chickens. My corgi grew up with cats and she will still chase them occasionally, but she has learned she's not supposed to. I don't think she would be able to learn that with chickens, though. Plus, maybe your other dog wouldn't appreciate being herded around, either! Luckily my other dog is bigger than my corgi and thinks it is a great game.

If you are thinking about another dog, I've heard that Bichon Frise's are supposed to be very gentle with other kinds of pets. Other than that, I don't know!
