A few *snappies* of the transition from Inmate #34 to Harvey ~
a PET with a HOME!

Volunteer Deb: "Hey #34 - C'mone out and say hello!"
(The boy was just a bit *SHY*!)

He's in his "Day Box" - one of many small shelters outside under a row of shady trees. The dogs go out on nice days while the Volunteers clean & sanitize the inside cages. The Shelter was very clean and tidy!

#34 and an "Owned Dog" ...
his first venture outside as a Free Dog!

He's standing in front of the "drop box" -
the cage he was abandoned in on a day when the Shelter was closed.
A moment later he tugged me over to it, hiked his leg,
and took a Looong *pee* on the cage!
The only thing left with him was a hand-wrtten note:
"My name is "Fred"; I like to *run* at night."
Everyone agreed he never showed a bit of recognition to "Fred"!

Preston County Dog Warden "Jodine" - a *NICE* Lady!

#34 was looking past the drop box towards the Bus ...
"Is that myy ride outta here?"

Another of Harvey's Volunteer Moms -
the Gal that talked to Amber on the phone about #34.

"Harvey" gets aquainted with New Mom Amber at the meeting point ...

"Harv" was not interested in looking at the *flashy box*!

"Pssssst ~ Look at the camera, Pal."

"Mom, I TOLD da Bus Driver those were NOT my Flavour!
Now, can we go HOME?"

The next *snappies* will have to come from Amber & Justin!

Happie New Home, #34 ... or Harvey!!
Be a Good Boy!!
