Just to let you know, your first kittens are older than a week old, kittens eyes open when they are two weeks.
Youmentioned that you are feeding with a syringue? Is this a tube syringue or just squirting milk into their mouth. Tube feeding must be done by someone who is experienced or you can risk placing the tube into the lungs instead of the stomach which would kill the kittens!
I dunno. Someone at work told me they were between 7 and 10 days old when I first got them on Saturday. (I just read that they are open anytime between 9 and 14 days old so they are probably about a week and half old).
I have been taking care of babies for a long time at work and would never do anything if I didn't know how to do it. I was just squirting milk in their mouths with a syringe but they are on a bottle now. Trust me, they are spoiled and I have my vet and also the techs at work that I can reach by phone in a matter of seconds.
