Thanks to everyone! We decided to get the peppy boy pup because he and Smudge seemed to enjoy each other and will hopefully grow into each other.

As far as the male-male thing, neither dog seems dominant so I'm not too worried.

I'm picking him up Saturday and I'm so excited and also nervous. Let the adventure begin!
