At my old lab, most people had more animals than I did so it was kind of nice to talk about them. One of my old professors just sent me an emal about one of the mew-mew kittens' leaving to go to her new home and how sad she was.

In my current lab, I am in a research tech/grad student office with three other guys. I know two of them have at least one dog and the third has 8 cats, but they are his wife's. I'm not sure about everyone else though...I haven't really gotten to know them well enough.
