The boys (my cats) only go to the vets. When we had dogs we never took them shopping. I wouldn't leave them in the car anyway. I'm too afraid of something happening to them. Besides the hot car, there's the danger of someone teasing them just to be mean, or them jumping out when the door opens and getting lost. I just wouldn't risk it.
