Those are awesome, but, have you tried a solid color background, yet? The only reason I ask is because with his fur being so patterned, it's almost too busy with the patterned background too...although, for a fall calendar page, that will look pretty! I like #s 2, 5, and 8 out of the ones you posted, though.
