Give it a chance to heal. That's a good idea. I know you'll be watching him like a hawk, so waiting to see what happens is a good idea. You would have to put him under to do the x-rays. Killi and Shi were x-rayed sooner because they are GSDs and that breed is known for leg, shoulder and elbow problems. Good luck and please keep us posted.
