TopCat 1 (Cleo) likes potato chips too, also oven chips , the little crispy ones. She stretches herself very long and tall in a Siamesey kind of way, and reaches up to the table, makes a hook shape with her paw, and tries to slide them off my plate

Well I'm pleased to hear after some practice you feel confident and are managing this, as I said before I would feel bad having to do this, but when we know it is for our kits best, we seem to be able to manage anything.
